Rainee was born and raised for the most part on Vancouver Island.  Her parents, Rick Oakes and Faye Bartleman grew up in Sooke and both parents and grandparents(Fred and Olga Oakes and Vince and Ruby Bartleman) were very active in the community.  After moving away with her parents she would come back to spend summers here with family.  All Sooke Day parades, swimming at the potholes and walking the old train tracks(before it was the Goose) were memories she wanted for her own family so after marrying and living in Osoyoos for a time she moved  back to Sooke to raise her own family.  With her husband Kevin, and son Zach and daughter Isabela they are active in the community through hockey, ball and helping out in the schools.  She appreciates this close knit community that rallies around its people including supporting this family when Zach needed a quadruple bypass a few years ago.  After deciding to get into the Real Estate Profession she has really enjoyed working with and meeting people and was recently awarded  for being  in the top 5 Rookie Realtors for all of Pemberton Holmes.  She also recently has partnered up with Diane Alexander, a long time Sookite and realtor for over 20 years.  She is looking forward to assisting her clients for many years to come!
